1988FoundedQSI Automation, Inc. was founded as a partnership in November of 1988. Initial business was in vibratory feeder bowls, conveying systems, control panels, and automated equipment.
1991Alliance with IMM ManufacturerIn 1991, an alliance with an injection molding machine (IMM) supplier was formed to offer automated insert molding systems. This alliance continues today, as an important strategic partnership.
1997Acquired Injection Mold ShopIn 1997, QSI acquired an experienced injection mold shop and brought this knowledge and capability in-house. Additional machining capabilities were also added, keeping virtually all machined components for industrial automation systems, injection molds and injection molding machine retrofits in-house.
2002Plastics Machinery Group launchedIn 2002, the Plastics Machinery Group was launched. Responding to numerous requests from our customers to assist with their injection molding machine needs, QSI expanded by adding the technical experience to rebuild, retrofit and service our customers injection molding machinery.
2012QSI Custom Machining formedQSI purchased a machining business and facility in 2012 and formed QSI Custom Machining. The additional facility and equipment suits the custom machining of larger scale plates and components.
2013Celebrated 25 YearsBeginning from a garage in 1988, QSI has seen consistent growth. With today’s two facilities totaling 35,000 sq. ft. and over 50 qualified and experienced employees, QSI has the capacity, knowledge and expertise to make your project a success.
